The saying goes that when a man is born the Fates weave his destiny and swaddle him in it. Then one day the man dies, and the swaddle becomes a shroud. Heaven moves on.It is audacity to question the Fates. Olympus is Olympus. The land of men is the land of men. To transgress that, to cross the line of divinity and scale Olympus Mons? To defy the Fates and cast off their threads? That is hubris. It’s a mark that every philosopher bears plainly on their soul.[Virtuous Sons updates every Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday at 8pm EST.] Collapse

Good story. Man writes this on therapeutic meth and it’s awesome
Hey... Can someone give me a brief summary of what this novel is about? Cause the description didn't say anything ._.
This book is so good i cant begin to describe itwell written and well structuredSpoilerpacing is immaculate and there are lots of plot threads that form from the very beginning.side characters well fleshed out and all actions they characters make come across as natural and not forced at all. the first person pov is not annoying at all unlike how it usually is.the best thing about this novel is how real it feels due to the careful attention things like power scaling and character interactions have received. did not expect this level of quality from what is essentially a xianxia. This novel is true to its core as a xianxia but has its own distinctive twist that just makes it so much fun to read.Closest thing to a 10/10 ive come across
great book
Reinventing the Xianxia GenreREVIEWED AT: 0.18 [The Young Miss-tocrat 2]BY HaltWrite02/04/2021 22:16:54This is an inspired take on the xianxia genre. It reinterprets the setting through a Greco-Mediterranean lens instead of the typical Chinese setting, and I honestly find it quite refereshing. The author has clearly put in a lot of time and thought into merging the traditional xianxia system into the above aesthetic. The style is evocative in an epic-fantasy feel that a lot of other stories lack. I also like how we're starting from a relatively grounded level instead of having mountains blowing up every other chapter, and it really makes the world feel more real (and only serves to make the epic more epic).Grammar, spelling, and punctuation are flawless. The prose is smooth and is easy to read, no walls of text involved, and there is very little, if any, bloat. Each sentence is designed to impart something useful to the reader about the world, the plot, or the characters. Nothing here feels like my time is being wasted. It's still very early on as I write this review, but already we're seeing hints of plot threads here that I'm really excited to see develop. What happened to Solus in the past? I imagine at some point we'll also be exposed to the wider world and that's going to be lit af, seeing how different city-states might have different cults (xianxia sects) forming. It is paced quite nicely, neither being too abrupt, but not meandering endlessly either. Edit: Chapter 18, and the plot threads continue to intrigue! The two main characters we see have a really nice dynamic between them. Both feel like fleshed out individuals. They've got some quippy lines, some interesting motivations, and a good back-and-forth. Really, what more is there to like in our leads?
This was last reviewed at chapter 18, but judging by the amount of upvotes on this review i'd say it holds up.
I'm talking about the upvotes on the original review on RoyalRoad, i just copíed it and posted it here.
The Writing POV...Is Not My Cup Of Tea So I Can't Read This To Bad...It Seemed Good At First Chapter

Glad to see my recommendation put on the site this story is beautiful it is the perfect combo between greec mytology and Xianxia I recommend reading this to everyone
How many main characters do we have?
two main characters
2? That sounds like a no no
Why? Take the example of Naruto anime, it has Naruto and Sasuke as two main characters.
Greek mythology? So the gods are present in the story?
I don't want to say too much because it would spoil the pleasure of reading it, but the author knows a lot about ancient Greece, even though it is obviously an alternative world with important differences.
Unrelated, but I am amazed at how people can get away with these pfp
I would argue they might know too much for the reader's good. I read a few chapters and put it aside as a potential to read, but the amount of times I had to google a word because they're using the ancient greek term was kind of annoying. I get it, it's set in an ancient greek setting so of course they'll use those terms, but it was far more of a chore to read and actually fully understand what was going on than most other books. Not to mention some of them seemed entirely unnecessary. If it's something that doesn't have a direct translation or you'd actually lose something by translating it, fine. But maybe half of them seemed so arbitrary. Maybe I'm just so familiar with the terms in Asian novels I just don't notice the same problems in them.
is it harem? or have romance?
Asking the real questions
No harem it's almost sure, the 2 MC have potential love interests but the story doesn't really focus on that. (from what I have read)
Signs of gay romance appear later on
That's very Greek...
Man I love your pfp
hahaha <3
what a pfp

what?
Lots of new event tags on this one. Not sure if some of them are a mistake though?
No the tags are good
new tags are good, but pretty sure we have the tags for those already. The bot probably made a mistake since it's been removed now.
Why is it weak to strong and overpowered protagonist at the same time?
That tag means that the mc was originally weak and became overpoweredly strong after.. Perhaps through a power awakening, system or some other overpowered awakening
