At first I thought it was interesting, since the hero has his own path and his own aspirations for life, but in the end the hero turned out to be a complete idiot. My desire to read instantly disappeared. He doesn’t understand economics, doesn’t understand the hierarchy of forces in the city and the world as a whole, he behaves arrogantly, bringing trouble to his family, while smiling like an idiot. He gives examples of modernity when it comes to the inhabitants of the world - peasants and refugees. The idiot even ruins the economy of his family. He completely ignores the concept of "Come to Rome, act like a Roman", he clearly wants to be in a cage with lions. The novel is unworthy - 4/10.
It's ok, 3.5 stars seems like an apt score. Every Lin Fan in the Lin Fan multiverse likes infuriating people, so this time around, he gets rewarded for it with rage points that he spends on level ups for both cultivation and techniques. The first half of the novel is quite entertaining and reads reasonably well, though the second half of the novel kind of drags on, sometimes, you get the feeling that the mc is aimless and has no goals or drive. This particular Lin Fan seems far lazier, which is a turn off for me personally, since i don't quite like lazy characters all that much. I'm fine with mc's not doing too much, like all those sign in novels where the mc stays in one place for a long time, but if laziness is an actual character trait and not something imposed upon them by the cheat, then it's a minus for my enjoyment. If you have a cheat, then abuse it, why are you sitting down getting massages from your male servant, like, seriously get up and work you bum. Another gripe of mine is the lack of depth when it comes to the cultivation system. In the first half of the novel, at least you could tell the author tried to create interesting techniques that seemed cool or felt rewarding when it came to adding points...but at some point the author gave up. The techniques the mc was spending rage points on were so many that the mc's character sheet simply never appeared again, and even the names of the techniques he learned in the second half are not known, and neither are their effects. This made all novelty from fights wear off quickly, because the same techniques learned in the first half of the novel, were used for the latter half of the novel too, which made combat grow stale...In conclusion, it's a fine novel to burn some time away, a bit above average, but average nonetheless. If you've read Xin Feng's novels before, you know what to expect. If not, please check out The Strongest System by the same author, that is pretty much the first Lin Fan novel, and the genesis of it all. Have a good day.
it's a solid read in terms of it became AND stayed what it wanted to be. this reads as an action romp with a dollop of comedy and OP MC. Mc has a rage harvest system that he uses to cultivate, that's pretty much it, he surpasses everyone by being a dual cultivator as well. Basically since it is consistent, you don't have to read too much. If you don't like it early on, you won't like it by reading further. I suggest you read at MOST 50 chapters, if you're still undecided until then, then just drop it.
It's both annoying and fun to read. i don't especially like that at the beginning he farms rage points from his father.
Well, it challenges your intelligence, everyone there feels like stupid, childish or some kind of psycho...
Great concept but the thing is this type of attitude of nobles to servants is ridiculous. I have read so many novels like this well enough to know that if you keep giving such treatment you would cause rebellion, people would rather choose death, or people would choose an enemy side. Even the accumulation of rage points is ridiculous. He tackles the angering part in a very childish way when you can use a bigger way like for example succeed on your own then provoke the other side because they are below you now. That would gain more. I can understand 1 or 2 nobles being overbearing but all of them? Really stupid decision tsk tsk
Is this Harem because I don't believe this is not a harem when the mc is a young master
No it's not harem

Amazing I don't know why they are calling it boring but it's amazing , I just can't stop laughing . Both op and funny mc.😊
did you manage to finish? how was it?
They pushed the side characters too quickly into the background.
